Turkey – 26-29.11.2007 After many long years, we decided to arrange a tour to Konya where Mevlana lived and invited everyone to the path to God through the following verses: “Come, come, whoever you are; Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving It does not matter” Our trip would be different from the previous ones whose aim was “training”, but still a distinct four-day vacation was waiting for us to keep us away from stress... While driving to the peaceful city where Mevlana lived, the sun was appearing through the fog like a messanger of a beautiful vacation. Actually, being together with Ramaray Prabhu is enough to spend a good time.By adjusting to every kind of condition, connecting any event, topic and environment with the science of Yoga, Ramaray adds up many things to our life-experiences at all times. He teaches us how to protect our calmness in chaos whether it takes place in nature or in a city during our tours... Yes, when we reached Konya on a sunny noon time we had our breakfast at a very nice place and drove to the hotel. When we packed out and had a rest in our rooms,we came together and Ramaray did one of his charming talks. After that, we did sports and took a long walk, which reminded us of the programmes we had in Bolu-Gerede. One can not think of a trip to Konya without visiting the Mevlana mausoleum. For this reason our first task was to visit the tomb soon after sport and breakfast. In the tomb when the moving explanations of Ramaray joined with the Love energy of Mevlana we went through very intensive moments. Next, we had a walk in the garden which was nearby the museum and we imprisoned the smell of roses inside, then we paid our visits to Sems-i Tebrizi who was the guru of Mevlana. In his tomb a man with a friendly smile on his face approached us saying “Sems-i Tebrizi is the friend and the guru of Mevlana. Come nearer so that the smell of the rose can reach you.” Hearing those words we got more affected by the atmosphere there. On this invitation we meditated for a while in the tomb and prayed silently. The other day, in the evening we drove to Tavusbaba tomb in meram. We had a very nice view to oversee Konya while drinking our saleps. During our four-day stay in the hotel we did not forget to use all the available facilities there. We swam in the pool, took walks, went to the sauna, went to the sports hall and did hatha yoga and meditation, in the conference hall we listened to the lecture Ramaray Prabhu gave... Time was flying...We came to the end the vacation and drove back to Ankara, our homes. Again another vacation was over to give way for the coming ones ... |
