Bolu, Turkey – 22-29.06.2007 “Being Mad Consciously” Yes, this is the exact name of our vacation. Many of you will agree with me about the absurdity of the name, I know. But you have got to know that the things we have practised during the vacation is as unusual as the name we have given it. The beauty was hidden under this absurdity. 8 days and 7 nights, every minute of them were spent carefully. It took us 2 hours to depart from Ankara and arrive at the hotel. Every year the number of participants is increasing our group was a large one. Although I thought that Ramaray would spend a lot of energy dealing with us individually, this did not come true, because the contribution of new participants to maintain the harmony in the group was giving energy to Ramaray. As usual in our program, we have simple egzercises which could be done by everyone at different levels such as bursting into laughters madly, crying, yelling, dancing, throwing out the feelings and the thoughts that we have supressed inside. Learning new things every day and building up our knowledge in time our program became more colorful, to illustrate, we were listening to music as if we were in a concert hall, dancing and dancing for hours… You can not imagine how it fills you with energy to dance for hours. It is so much that after 3 hour frolic nobody wanted to do to bed. That every passing day the decrease in the amount of the meals and the sleep we had was the sign of our filling with energy. Everyone was getting lighter and more active. The vacation program showed its effect on everyone and developed sensible differences among us… Ramaray played an important role in this change by instructing and directing us for hours. His being with us all the time was closing the distances, he was not only our coach but also our friend. It was fairly enough to look at the face of the participants to understand the effect of such a vacation. There were some people who could not join the group and looking forward to our return in Ankara. To those people’s question “how was the holiday?” our respond “It was so wonderful” meant more and they understood what was not said and they immediately decided to join the next Bolu program.
