Ankara, Turkey – 01.05.2007 Today we are celebrating the appearance day of Lord Nrsimhadev. Listening to the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra songs everyone is trying to do their best to contribute to the arrangements: the altar which is specially prepared is being adorned, the desserts and candies are being placed with great affection and care into the dishes in front of the altar, the bells are ringing so devotees are rushing to the door to welcome our guests, Kirtan instruments are being arranged and in the kitchen there is a ever lasting prasad preparations… Time is flying while we are in such a great excitement… Towards the evening time we gather around our leader Ramaray Prabhu. He has a lot of things to tell us about. Having read several purports from Srimad Bhagavatam’s 7th Canto, Ramaray Prabhu told us the story about the appearance of Lord Nrsimhadev. Since our new friends do not have any ideas about Lord Nrsimhadev, first they seem confused seeing the picture in front of the altar but their hearts gradually start to melt within the different emotions. The change is striking that after Kirtan and prasad, everyone gathers around the altar focusing on Lord Nrsimhadev’s imposing appearance. The thrilling picture as for the new comers’ first impression spreads out the feelings of trust and peace. Jaya Lord
Nrsimhadev, ki jaya!
