This text is decorating our walls in our center. But this text means more to those who read and follow the instruction in the text since it declares the method for chanting the Holy Names of God. What is more, by this way, it also explains to us how to make more benefit out of the most precious present offered to us by Lord Chaitanyadev.
Yes the most precious gift...And this gift is presented to us by means of Lord chaitanya and Srila gurudev. Today is the appearance day of Lord Chaitanyadev whose will for us is to chant Maha-Mantra Hare Krishna continuously as it is the easiest and the most practical method to develop ourselves in this Kali Yuga. For us this day is very meaningful and special day. Therefore, we have come together to celebrate this day in our center.
And we have also invited our acquitances and friends.There are new faces among us and we have a crucial responsibility in order to make those people feel the same enthusiasm as we do. However, instead of feeling stressful so as to fulfill our responsibilty, thanks to the effect of maha- mantra, our enthusiasm and happiness have increased doubling themselves. During the intervals Ramaray Prabhu has read us about Lord Chaitanya so we have found a chance to learn more about Him and His life. When we have come to the final of the Kirtan, everyone astonishes because the time has flown very fast... the tasty and delicious meals prepared by the devotees in our center have been distributed to the guests… And it is high time we went but no one wants to leave the center. They sit around Lord Chaitanya’s altar and happily smile. Meanwhile, they take offered cakes, sweets, cookies and desserts to share their lovely experience with their friends and relatives.
Along with them, they also take another gift which is an invisible one, that is, the seed thrown into their hearts, the seed of the Maha-Mantra. Unknowingly, together with the cakes and sweets, they would distribute this seed to their friends.
This is the way which has been started by Lord Chaitanya and transmitted to us by Srila Gurudev. In order to follow their path we pray for their everlasting Mercy unto us.
