After 15 days from the birthday celebrations of Sri Krishna Janmastami... Sri Radhastami: Srimati Radharani’s appearance day…

On such divine days in our center daily activities start very early. Although the ornamentation of Altar room took place in the previous day, there are still things awaiting to be offered such as chocolates, candies, cookies, dried fruits etc..

Among us there are some working people who want to spend their lunch breaks with us. It worths to spend this short time together by listening to the Radha-Krishna lilas. “Who is Srimati Radharani?” “What is her relationship with Lord Krishna?” Our leader Ramaray Prabhu answers these questions as such: Radharani is the soul of Krishna, she is the form of his love and this concept falls far beyond our attempts to understand and interpret it with our material eyes.

Every place is full of the vibrations of Hare Krishna Maha-mantra, everyone is running from one place to the other to do their service… And how it is different to share the service together. Everyone is full of enthusiasm and joy because of being in the group. Even the daily activities look different when they are done together as a group. Perhaps the feelings of joy and enthusiasm we experience now stems from this sharing and group energy.

Towards the evening the room is prepared for kirtan. 1^st song …2^nd song ..and then the mantra takes us to a different time and place. To the place where time loses its importance and to the place where our hearts are filled with pray… Srimati Radharani, You are the heart of Lord Krishna. It is only you who knows the way to the holy place and it is only you who can hold us light on the way and it is only you who can only make him pleased with her service.
