Appearance day of union form Radha-Krishna (Lord Chaitanya). On this special day we come together in the center to show our respect and gratefulness to Lord Chaitanyadev who by starting the Sankirtan movement showed us the way to devine love, from material world to spiritual world.

As we always do, we have started our preparations a couple of days before the special day. First of all, we informed and invited all our devotees to the celebration. Our frends who were in charge fulfilled their responsibilities very carefully coming to the center at early hours.

It took time to prepare the altar. Ramaray as he always does did the ornamentation and decoration by himself. He wanted everything to be perfect. After being served to the Lotus feet of Lord, the foods, cakes, pastries, sweets ,which are prepared with love, are put in front of the altar. Lights, flowers, foods, music.... everything is ready now.

And Kirtan strats. The most valuable gift by Lord Chaitanya. So what can we do for him? I think there is one thing that we can do that is to follow his way. To utter Hare Krishna Maha Mantra... Kirtan... Sankirtan...

Thank to the effect of Kirtan the fasting people don’t feel their hunger, They dance enthusiastically but now it is time for prashad. This time we have a special organization. We are getting ready to go out and get into cars then we go to a place whose reservations have been done by a friend. At the table as we listen to the stories about Lord Chaitanya, we want to hear more of his life. And then we come to the end of this auspicious day.

May Lord Chaitanyadev show us his forgiveness and give us the honor of uttering divine names.
